The Xiaomi Redmi Go
The Xiaomi Redmi Go is expected to launch soon in India. The device sports a 5-inch HD resolution(720p) display with standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor that is paired with Adreno 308 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. In terms of optics, the handset comes with an 8MP rear camera that supports 1080p video recording and HDR more. While the front camera is backed with a 5MP resolution.
Connectivity aspects on board the Redmi Go include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB v2.0, GPS, and dual Sim. The phone is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of battery life. The smartphone runs Android 8.1(Oreo)(Go Edition) out of the box. Sensors are an Accelerometer, a Proximity, and a Compass. The device will be available in Blue and Black color options. The Xiaomi Redmi Go is expected to price at Rs. 5,499 for 1GB and 8GB variant.
